A first color-layer after bloked-in form and proportions,

deeping the background trying to find the right colour,

redefining the bag with some details and more values,

more details and right values...

A plastic bag swimming, still WIP. Why? It's a nice exercise to render trasparency and colour change due immersion in a coloured liquid like see-water.

Vernissage!?

I now probably know when to stop to work on a portrait, the first picture is a little sketch portrait of me before i "killed" it some minutes after....!

Hello friends, i'm working on a new painting, something abstract, based on my face, i take the colour only of a selected area of a photo, if you squint your eyes maybe you see a face, it's a try inspired by the work of Chuck Close , let see the end of the experiment.

Eccoci dinuovo...

Con l estate ed il caldo il mio computer non ha retto e si e rotto, spedito in riparazione arrivera spero presto, ma non prima della fine di settembre. Nel frattempo uso quello di mia sorella e posto i lavori fatti in agosto e tutt ora in progressione.

My two years old computer died in august, i send it to the manufacturer for some upgrade hoping to have it at the end of september, so, i now use my sister^s laptop (thank you Fra), and this is what i m doing now..

A volte ritornano...

A volte pensi di aver finito una cosa... e invece ti capita di ripensare e tornarci su, è quello che mi sta accadendo rivedendo con occhio critico i lavori che ho fatto nei mesi scorsi, ecco un esempio, farò la cosa giusta a ritoccare tutto?

This week i will look with other eyes the work i have done last months, today i place a new color layer on the Bentley and i'm not jet finish. It seems to me that the most part of what i have done till now have to be retouched, i don't know if it's a good thing or not, for the moment i start only with this one..
